Widespread interest in environmental issues is growing. Many studies have examined the effect of distributed generation (DG) from renewable energy resources on electric power grid. For example, various efficiently connect growing DG to current Accordingly, objective this study present an algorithm that determines location and capacity. purpose, combines particle swarm optimization (PSO) Volt/Var control (VVC) while regulating voltage magnitude within allowable variation (e.g., ±5%). practical optimization, PSO enhanced by applying load profile data 24-h data). The function (OF) proposed method considers variations, line losses, economic aspects deploying large-capacity installation costs) transmission networks. case validate (i.e., optimal allocation with capability VVC PSO) OF finds capacity scenarios IEEE 14- 30-bus test feeders). This then uses compare profile, loss, cost improved a grid without DG.
